81 finalists competed over the Queens Course, Gleneagles. Over 2000 young golfers entered this prestigious handicap competition nationwide.
The sixth event on this year’s tour fell foul of some rather extreme weather which forced play to be abandoned on day one, leaving an 18 hole shoot-out on day two where Graeme Brown shot his way to victory with a 3 under par 68.
The fifth stop on this year’s schedule played over a rather blustery Whitekirk in East Lothian.
Neil Fenwick and David Orr tied for victory at the fourth event on this year’s schedule, held at the stunning Roxburghe near Kelso.
Our cameras were once again at the flagship event for the SGU which was held at the stunning links of Western Gailes. Congratulations to David Law who took the title for the second time in three years.
